For the most part this was a very written story. I enjoy books that start amid the story and don't spend a lot of time on backstory. This one did that. However, it failed to have a connecting moment at the onset. Without connecting to the heroine at the very start all of the rip roaring action could have been happening to anyone because I just wasn't attached to any of them. I'm all about characters. If you are all about action, this will likely be a five star read. The action and dialogue was snappy and very well paced, making a good read inspire of its flaws.

This was a great book that easily fits into the What to read after The Hunger Games or Divergent category. As much as I'm probably over evil governments, Henley has a unique personality and drive that kept me reading. I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
Wow, loved this book! I have recommended it to many friends.
Attention grabbing and well paced story with an engaging heroine. Interesting cast of characters. Imaginative setting. Can't wait for sequel!

I really loved the concept and story, but the book needed a professional editor. No one caught the critical concept errors and terminology that never should have been used in this novel.
Well written but characters not as well fleshed out as they could have been. I liked the world building. I loved that it was clean. It ended a bit abruptly. I enjoyed the romance.
Graff and Brooks definitely are the two to watch. I have always enjoyed books that have a twist and this one definitely did.
