I enjoy sci-fi books quite a bit and The Fifth Civilization did not disappoint. It was like experiencing a riveting chase through outer space. The writing was well done and the characters were well thought out. The concept was very interesting to me. I would recommend this book to any sci-fi lover.

Good read
Pretty interesting. I like the concept but I typically like anything sci-fi.
Fairly good for a first book. Look forward to seeing the author's next efforts.
This was a good read, starting out as a sci-fi noir and ending up as something like an Andre Norton classic. The action is well done, and I especially liked a long "base under seige" sequence in the middle section.
I would say that I will quite enjoy seeing what the author writes next. The pacing could be tighter, and some characters might have been introduced much earlier, but Bingham-Pankratz has a lot of potential. This is his first book, and it is evident, but I will look forward to any novels he releases in the future.
Not a bad read at all. Has some spelling errors here and there and some odd character interactions but all and all i didnt hate it. More development of the characters would have been nice though the author did try and layout some character history I could have used more. Sometimes the action seemed rushed and could have used more. Just my opinion, but for a few bucks its worth a read.
This is an up and coming author. I hope he writes a sequel. This story had everything - good plot, good character development, action, and even some romance (but not too much). I liked the different creatures and worlds this author created. It was a complex, exciting story and easy to read.
